Major Accomplishments

A formal sponsorship program with different levels of sponsorship (Gold, Silver and Bronze) was created. The sponsorship program has been instrumental in funding the activities of SPEATBC. SPEATBC is a non-profit organization that is the only one of its kind in Canada because it is run entirely on sponsorships. SPEATBC has never applied for any government assistance program, nor do we collect membership fees, yet we are able to host many free activities such as seminars, industry tours and annual picnics. Successful job skills seminar, annual picnic and annual dinner were hosted. The SPEATBC webpage was revised and updated (www.speatbc.org).
