Positions Available: 1
Shift: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

The key duties of this position include but are not limited to:

  • Improvement, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of hydraulic, pneumatic and electro-mechanical production machinery and integrated equipment including PLC controlled systems.
  • Organization of tooling and management of spare parts inventory.
  • Participation in the development, fabrication and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Assisting in developing and implementing standard and preventive maintenance procedures for equipment.
  • Training machine operators in best practices for daily cleaning and maintenance.
  • Participation in our 5S program.
  • Contributing to Quality & Continuous Improvement programs.

Qualifications:
Journeyman certification is strongly desired. Candidates must have well rounded knowledge of hydraulic & pneumatic systems and mechanical and electro-mechanical systems including knowledge of PLC operated machinery. General welding and machining skills also required. Our ideal candidate has experience with some of the following manufacturing processes – roll forming, progressive metal stamping, cutting and welding of vinyl window extrusions or thermoforming of plastic. Familiarity with the concepts of Total Preventative Maintenance Programs and SOP’s would be an asset.

Occasional overtime may be required as well as some flexibility in shift hours to meet operational demands.
